NGO Zana has recently distributed 15 greenhouses for women farmers in the region of Peja.

NGO Zana has recently distributed 15 greenhouses for the cultivation of vegetables for 15 women farmers in the region of Peja. In the beneficiary contract signing ceremony of the greenhouses, the Executive Director of NGO Zana, Tahire Gashi, asserted that NGO Zana is undertaking concrete steps in supporting women farmers and bolstering women's economic development in the region of Peja. Besides the donations made, Zana has strongly advised women farmers to attend trainings to be held by agricultural experts as well as the visit of B2B with their peer farmers in Kosovo, which activities shall help in the women's economic development in the region of Peja.

Ardita Kastrati, one of the beneficiary farmers, has welcomed the donation granted by NGO Zana, which donation enabled her build an 80 square metres greenhouse. She hopes to use it to grow vegetables for the needs of her family and wider market.
