NGO ZANA History
History
The women association ZANA in Kline is an NGO, established in February of 2002. The association was registered as an NGO based
on the UNMIK regulation # 1999/22 in February of 2002.

NGO “ZANA” supports and protects the rights of women, as a part of the human rights. We do this through many activities and we support
the participation of women in politics.
We use and employ different mechanisms for achieving the gender equality in all the fields, and we ensure all these through trainings, concentrating on the building capacities and capabilities, for women NGO-s, youth groups, teachers, civil servants, political parties and media, as well as trainings for basic concepts, gender equality, research, advocacy, meetings, debates and round tables regarding the implementation of democracy as well as approach in the information technology

NGO ‘ZANA” in Kline, is focused in achieving the gender equality, implementation of laws, national and international regulations, as well as participation of the community in decision making processes and in the programs, initiatives of protection and advocacy. NGO ‘ZANA ‘is a member of the Kosovo youth network as well as member of the Kosovo women network and Kosovo women lobby, who, strongly lobby in improving the position of women and youth, in all aspects, rising their voices to the decision making structures, regardless of race, religion, ethnicity nor age.

NGO “ ZANA” works with three target groups:
1. Youth group
2. Women group
3. Children group

Our Mission is:
to contribute in incorporation of Klina citizens in social life of women in particular, offering educational programs especially in gender and health maters as well as participation in the different initiatives of advocacy and lobbying. Our vision is: together to ensure education, integration, advocacy and gender equality
